MYS 2022 was a spectacular return to form after the pandemic years, restoring its status as the premier yachting event in the world. Port Hercules was brimming with excitement as over 100 superyachts lined the docks, joined by 450 leading exhibitors representing the best in the global yachtingindustry. After years of scaled-down events, the full return of grandeur waspalpable, from the glistening yachts to the star-studded social scene.

The show’s centerpiece was the 95-meter Kismet, a Lürssen masterpiece that captured attention with its luxurious design andamenities, from its expansive deck spaces to its intricately designed interiors. Equally impressive was Viva, a 94-meter hybrid yacht from Feadship, lauded for its innovative sustainability features. Viva demonstrated how the industry is evolving, balancing high-end luxury witheco-conscious design—a trend that was seen throughout the show

One of the highlights of the 2022 show was the debut of the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub. This new section quickly became a favorite among attendees, offering a glimpse into the future of yacht design. The IGY Monte Carlo Party, a black-tie affair held at the Monaco Yacht Club, was the centerpiece of the social calendar.
