Lukas Stratmann Joins Superyacht Partners

Superyacht Partners are delighted to announce that Lukas Stratmann has joined their Superyacht Family Office.

Lukas is a dynamic, well-respected professional and a passionate yachtsman, with more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of the global yachting industry.

Having completed his National Service in the German Navy he subsequently gained a degree in yacht manufacturing and surveying providing him with an excellent base in maritime engineering. Previously  Managing Partner at Dahm International, Sales Manager at Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard and Director of Ocean Indepedence Germany, Lukas joins Superyacht Partners to strengthen their German and Austrian facing business. He has sold and chartered motor and sailing yachts to up to 80m in length and has extensive experience in all areas of the industry.

With over a decade of experience in luxury yacht brokerage, Lukas Stratmann arrives at Superyacht Partners as a seasoned professional whose career has spanned major European firms. A graduate of Solent University with a degree in Yacht Production & Surveying, he began his journey at Dahm International in 2013, where he quickly rose to Managing Director in Spain by 2014. In 2018, he joined Ocean Independence as a Yacht Broker and later became their Sales & Purchase Director, closing high-profile deals such as the Baltic Nilaya, the Oceanco "Sea Walk", the Benetti Motopanfilo "EH2" and most recently an off market 62-metre Viareggio Superyacht (VSY).

A Track Record of Success and Trust

Stratmann’s reputation for excellence is well earned. At Ocean Independence, he navigated complex transactions across Europe, advising key clients across Germany, Austria and Spain with tailored brokerage and new-build project guidance. He also led the firm's appointment as central agent for Dynamiq’s flagship Global 400, showcasing his ability to position technically ambitious yachts within discerning markets. His leadership extended to the successful sale of the 62m VSY —demonstrating a deft ability to bring seller and buyer together before the yacht was officially on the market.
