Escapade
Silhouette and Seascape
The sailing yacht Escapade is a 37.5-metre luxury vessel constructed by the esteemed New Zealand shipyard Fitzroy Yachts and delivered in 2014. Showcasing an all-British design pedigree, her exterior and naval architecture are the work of the renowned Dubois Naval Architects, while her interiors have been crafted by the acclaimed Design Unlimited. Built with an aluminium hull and superstructure, Escapade offers a harmonious blend of performance and comfort. Escapade stands tall amongst her peers with her rig reaching 50 meters above the waterline. She features a fixed keel, a carbon mast, and airfoil carbon rigging by Hall Spars. The yacht is outfitted with 3D lightweight sails: Main, Genoa, Jib, and Staysail, all crafted by North Sails. Escapade can accommodate up to 10 guests and 5 crew members, including the captain. Powered by a Caterpillar engine, she reaches a top speed of 10 kn with an impressive range of up to 3,900 nautical miles.
Teak-lined jacuzzi and versatile sunbathing areas
Escapade boasts a thoughtfully designed exterior that seamlessly integrates leisure and functionality. The foredeck features a teak-lined jacuzzi accompanied by a large sunpad, providing an idyllic spot for relaxation while enjoying panoramic ocean views. Aft on the main deck, two L-shaped sunpads offer additional lounging space, with the starboard side cleverly concealing an exercise bike beneath a flush deck hatch. The transom transforms into a swim platform, complete with a shower and bathing ladder, facilitating easy access to the sea. A port-side midship boarding ladder ensures convenient embarkation in various conditions. The cockpit area, sheltered by a Bimini hardtop with adjustable skylights and side glazing, houses a guest lounge, bar, and alfresco dining area, creating a versatile environment for both relaxation and entertainment.
Elegant design with Malaysian-inspired accents

The deck saloon is bathed in natural light through expansive glazing, enhancing the warm tones of the Merbau timber flooring. To port, a comfortable lounge area invites relaxation, while to starboard, a feature bar adorned with back-lit agate serves as a focal point for social gatherings. Malaysian design influences are evident throughout, with Songket silk panels and hand-carved teak sculptures adding an exotic touch. Accommodation is configured for flexibility and comfort, featuring an aft full-beam owner's suite with an island double berth, a sofa, vanity, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite shower room. Two convertible twin cabins, each with an additional Pullman berth and en-suite facilities, cater to varying guest needs. A fourth cabin forward serves dual purposes as a day room or additional guest accommodation, ensuring versatility for different cruising requirements.
