Cyclos III, a 42.36-metre sailing yacht from Royal Huisman, was launched in 1990 as a high-performance luxury cruiser. With an aluminium hull and superstructure, she combines strength with a lightweight design that contributes to her impressive 13-knot top speed. Crafted by Ron Holland with an interior by Andrew Winch, Cyclos III has twice circumnavigated the globe, showcasing her endurance and engineering quality. After a major 2017 refit, which included a fresh teak deck and advanced furling systems, this yacht remains a benchmark in innovative design and quality.

Cyclos III’s exterior, created by renowned designer Ron Holland, showcases classic lines and robust construction, capturing the essence of performance-driven sailing. The deck is designed with spacious areas for sunbathing and social gatherings, while teak finishes add a refined touch. Her recent refit includes two Reckmann headsail furlers, optimising handling and sail efficiency. The aluminium hull and superstructure not only reduce weight for performance but also provide resilience. Cyclos III’s design is as functional as it is elegant, inviting guests to enjoy the open-air lifestyle in a refined setting.
Interior Elegant and thoughtful interiors by Winch Design
The interior of Cyclos III, crafted by Andrew Winch, emphasises warmth and sophistication. Wood panelling and luxurious fabrics create a comfortable ambiance that contrasts her robust exterior. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in five well-appointed cabins, along with six crew members, ensuring a high level of service and privacy. The main saloon serves as a social and relaxation hub, with ample seating and a formal dining area. This tasteful, classic design provides a seamless experience of comfort and elegance, ideal for long voyages or coastal cruises.
